Baan Suan La Moon was a delightful retreat nestled in Northern Thailand, just a short 8-minute walk from the bustling Walking Street and Mekong promenade. The owner, La Moon, was the perfect hostess - welcoming, helpful, and always ready with local tips. Our cozy cabin overlooked a serene pond teeming with colorful fish, creating a peaceful ambiance. The gardens were lush and vibrant, offering a green sanctuary away from the city noise.The room, though small, was incredibly comfortable, with a very comfy bed and clean bathroom. La Moon's thoughtful touches like providing local fruits, breakfast snacks, and even fresh coconut water added a special charm to our stay. The generous supply of coffee and treats in the morning was a lovely way to start each day.One of the highlights was the easy access to bikes, allowing us to explore the picturesque surroundings at our own pace. The peaceful location, away from the touristy crowds, was a welcome reprieve, yet within walking distance to all the main attractions. The valet parking made coming and going a breeze, adding an extra layer of convenience to our stay.Baan Suan La Moon provided us with a restful and tranquil experience, a perfect stop on our journey through Northern Thailand. If you're looking for a friendly and welcoming place to stay while exploring the unique charm of Chiang Khan, this 2-star accommodation with its beautiful garden and attentive host is a top choice.
